Greg Mills
Managing Director

As Managing Director, Greg Mills is responsible for the overall supervision of Rendine Constructions. He is also a project manager for the company, having overseen projects including the $6 million development at St Joseph’s College in Geelong.
With a civil engineering degree, Greg has more than 12 years experience in building and construction. He served for three years as Contracts Engineer with the Colac/Otway Shire before moving to a civil construction company based in Ballarat in regional Victoria, where he was involved in pricing and managing a range of road and bridge projects. In 2004 he joined his father Laurie at Rendine Constructions as a project manager, before taking on the role of General Manager in 2006, then Managing Director in 2007.
With Rendine he has overseen a number of major changes in the company’s operations, with a move into civil construction, and expansion in the size of building projects undertaken. Accompanying this has been a restructuring of the company, which has included: the implementation of consistent, integrated ICT systems to facilitate the expansion; the recruitment of staff with more diverse expertise; and the ability to undertake larger scale projects for a wider range of clients.

Laurie Mills
Director

Laurie has more than four decades of experience in building and construction, having started out as an apprentice carpenter. In 1973, he began in business, which ultimately saw him start Rendine Constructions in 1977.
In that time Laurie has been involved in a multitude of construction projects from many angles, including estimating and all areas of construction. His experience in commercial construction in particular is extensive – a vast range of small to medium sized projects including schools, factories, offices, municipal work, churches and more.
Laurie was Managing Director of Rendine Constructions for more than 30 years, before his son Greg took over the role in 2007.

Geoff McKendrick
Estimator

Geoff has more than 38 years experience in construction, and has been with Rendine for 30 years. For 26 of those years he served as construction manager before moving into estimating. Geoff started with then major Geelong construction firm JC Taylor as an apprentice, working throughout Victoria working on various sites. Over decades of construction experience, he has worked on a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects, including factories, schools, offices and hotels.
